The grand opening isn't until Nov. 11, but patients can now make appointments at the hospital in west Louisville.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Less than a month from its grand opening, Norton West Louisville Hospital is ready to start accepting appointments.

Patients can start making appointments for Nov. 11 and later.

The medical offices at the facility off West Broadway will house adult primary care providers and specialists in cardiology, endocrinology, orthopedics, pulmonology, surgery, women’s care, oncology/hematology, neurology and neurosurgery.

There will also be primary care and specialists for children.

The providers coming to West Louisville are very excited to start seeing patients,” Corenza Townsend, chief administrative officer, said. “The space at Norton West Louisville Hospital is set up to allow flexibility as the needs of the community continue to change.”

When the hospital opens, it will be staffed with emergency medicine and hospital medicine specialists.

Norton West Louisville Hospital will be the first new hospital west of Ninth Street in more than 150 years.
