Man sentenced in deadly 'ambush' shooting of musician outside southern Indiana casino

Antwaun Proctor has been sentenced for his role in the deadly March shooting of LilDon Williams outside Caesars Southern Indiana Hotel and Casino.

The man charged in the ambush killing of a Louisville hip-hop artist outside a southern Indiana casino will spend the next four decades behind bars.

The Harrison County Prosecutor’s Office said 20-year-old Antwaun Proctor has been sentenced to 45 years in prison.

Proctor admitted to killing LilDon Williams on March 17 outside Caesars Southern Indiana Hotel and Casino where the rapper was performing

Video from that night showed Proctor staking out Williams’ car for three hours.

Police said once Williams left the casino, Proctor shot him.

Williams’ family also spoke during Monday’s sentencing.

WHAS11 has also learned the investigation is ongoing as investigators are still searching for a second suspect connected to Williams’ death.
