Recognize these individuals? LMPD needs help identifying persons connected to Labor Day 'street takeovers'

LMPD said these individuals may have been responsible for damaging a police cruiser in Iroquois during illegal street takeovers Labor Day Weekend.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A week after arrests were made connected to illegal street racing and ‘street takeovers’ during Labor Day weekend, Louisville Metro Police are asking for help to identify more people involved with damaging a cruiser.

A group of individuals allegedly jumped on the hood of the police cruiser at New Cut Road at Kenwood Drive last Saturday, not too far from Iroquois Park.

LMPD said the persons caused damage that “the taxpayers will pay for.”

Similar scenes of burnouts, donuts and smoke were seen in the Portland, Russell and Iroquois neighborhoods and Cox Park.

Six people in total were arrested in the incidents.
