LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville man is in custody after a shooting killed one and injured another at a bar, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department.
60-year-old Kevin Powell of Louisville is now facing charges for murder, assault 2nd and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
He was arrest by officers on Wednesday.
On Sunday a double shooting outside of Club Cedar in the Russell neighborhood left one person dead and another injured.
Metro Police responded to the parking lot of the bar in the 400 block of South 26th Street around 8:30 p.m.
Two men were found at the location with gunshot wounds.
One of the men was pronounced dead at the scene while another was taken to UofL Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.
