LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man has died days after a shooting in the Portland neighborhood.
Metro Police said the incident happened in the 500 block of North 20th Street just before 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Officers at the scene discovered a man they said was lying in the street who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
The victim was quickly transported to an area hospital where he was listed in ‘grave’ condition. Police said the man later died at the hospital on Thursday.
Metro Police detectives were busy Tuesday night with other violent incidents.
A juvenile was shot and killed in the 3400 block of Garland Avenue and a man died following a shooting near Okolona.
