Officials: 2 crashes reported outside Valhalla Golf Club

One crash was reported to MetroSafe at about 7:15 a.m. and the other happened at about 7:50 a.m.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Two motor vehicle accidents occurred Thursday morning just outside of the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville as the 2024 PGA Championship began.

MetroSafe reported a two-vehicle crash involving a private bus and car at about 7:15 a.m. on Shelbyville Road.

The driver of the car sustained minor injuries to the arm and were taken to the hospital. There were no other injuries.

Another crash involving a car and a bus happened at about 7:50 a.m. in the 15500 block of Shelbyville Road. No injuries were reported as a result of the second crash.
