LOUISVILLE, Ky. — While some parts of Kentuckiana only saw rain, others woke up Saturday morning to find a light dusting of snow coated on their front lawns.

Rain showers transitioned into snow overnight Friday and into early Saturday morning.

Those living north of Louisville, in southern Indiana, saw the majority of the snow. But don't expect to find more than a light dusting! Ground and road temperatures were still relatively warm, so any snow accumulations were likely on grass or elevated surfaces.

If you're a snow lover, don't be too disappointed, the WHAS11 First Alert StormTeam is watching for the potential of more winter weather in the coming days.
