Here's what we know about each confirmed tornado:

Newburg, Louisville

The NWS Louisville confirmed an EF-1 tornado touched down in Louisville, near the Newburg area on Wednesday.

It touched down near Annshire Avenue/Vineyard Drive and traveled just south of Newburg Road/Bishop Lane. It was determined to have been 100 yards wide with a peak wind speed of 90 mph.

That tornado traveled for approximately 0.9 miles, officials said.

John Gordon, meteorologist in charge at NWS Louisville, confirmed a second EF-1 tornado struck that area as well.

The second tornado went west of Colonel Sanders Lane to near Robards Lane. Officials said that tornado was roughly 75 yards wide with an estimated peak wind speed of 95 mph. It was on the ground for less than half a mile.

No injuries or deaths were reported at either location.

Pleasure Ridge Park, Louisville

On Thursday, officials confirmed a second tornado touched down in the Pleasure Ridge Park neighborhood as well.

It was originally reported as an EF-2, but officials said it is now believed to be a strong EF-1 tornado with wind speeds of at least 110-115 mph.

Officials said the tornado was roughly 100 yards wide and was on the ground for approximately 0.8 miles.

The tornado struck an apartment complex and displaced more than 20 residents.

Meade County, Kentucky

NWS Louisville officials have confirmed an EF-1 tornado touched down in Meade County.

It had wind speeds of 110 mph and touched down just off Joe Prather Highway and Cedar Line Road near Brandenburg, Kentucky.

Officials estimate the tornado was on the ground for approximately 50 yards before lifting back up into the sky.

Southern Indiana

No tornadoes have been confirmed in southern Indiana at this time.

Preliminary reports indicate Corydon, Ind. sustained damage from straight-line winds that were moving between 80-85 mph. Straight-line winds in southern Crawford County, just north of Alton, had maximum wind speeds of 80 mph.

Straight-line winds also damaged parts of Bashford Manor in Louisville and the Bluegrass Industrial Park in Jeffersontown.
