These Kentucky and Indiana counties are under a tornado watch until Wednesday morning

Severe storms are expected across the region late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The National Weather Service in Louisville issued a tornado watch for portions of Kentucky and Indiana until 8 a.m. CST Wednesday.

A line of severe storms is expected to move through the region overnight and into the early morning hours Wednesday. 

According to the NWS, large golf ball-sized hail is possible. Damaging winds of 70 mph and "spin-up" tornadoes are also possible, according to the NWS.
