LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Weather Impact Alert Day has been issued for Sunday with heavy rain expected, especially in the morning.
Thankfully, severe weather is not expected, but locally heavy downpours are likely.
Saturday will be the best day to be outside this weekend, with dry conditions expected through Saturday afternoon.
The rain will hold off until after the Veterans Parade Saturday afternoon.
Temperatures will start off in the 40s and 50s Saturday morning, then head into the mid-upper 60s Saturday afternoon, with a light breeze from the east.
FUTURECAST
The rain will move in Saturday evening, starting off light, then turning heavier overnight into Sunday morning. The rain will begin to taper off Sunday afternoon from west to east.
RAINFALL TOTALS
Temperatures will stay above normal in the mid-upper 60s through this weekend, then near 70° Tuesday and Wednesday. The next cold front will bring rain chances Wednesday.
