LOUISVILLE, Ky. — After a good soaking rain early Monday, we'll have a few more light rain showers lingering through early Thursday.
Several locations in Kentucky and Indiana picked up around 1.00" of rainfall.
Most of this rain through early Thursday will be very light, and mainly along and south of the Ohio River.
The rain could be steadier along and south of the Bluegrass and Western Kentucky Parkways Thursday morning, closer to the stalled out stationary front.
Also, we'll need to watch for some foggy spots that could try to develop in the mild and moist air Thursday morning.
LATEST RAINFALL TOTALS:
Some of the area will be drying out Thursday afternoon, with high temperatures in the mid-60s.
FUTURECAST TIMING:
So, again, we'll have a Weather Impact Alert Day for damp conditions for your Thursday morning commute.
Our next rain chance will arrive with the next system moving in Saturday night and into Sunday.
If you have outdoor plans this weekend, it looks like Saturday will be your pick day.
Right now, it doesn't look like we'll have any severe weather, just more gusty rain showers through much of our Sunday.
Temperatures will be staying above normal through next week with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s; the average high is in the upper 50s and low 60s this time of year.
