Grand Jury returns murder indictment against Louisville man

A resident and a Metro Councilman are sharing their concerns following an early Sunday shooting on Baxter Avenue left two men dead and another injured.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A grand jury has returned an indictment against a Louisville man on Monday for a fatal shooting that happened in the Highlands in August. 

Ramon Robinson, 25, is accused of fatally shooting Michael Bachelor Jr. in the 1500 block of Morton Avenue on Aug. 11.

He is charged with murder, tampering with physical evidence, possession of a handgun by a prohibited person, and other charges connected to other cases investigators said.

Police were called to the area for two separate shootings that night; Louisville Metro Police said Richie Williams shot and killed Monte Wade three minutes before Bachelor was shot.
