LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A second man was charged in the ambush killing of a Louisville hip-hop artist outside a southern Indiana casino.
Harrison County Sheriff Detectives issued a warrant for Chaz Davis of Louisville who was charged with murder Thursday afternoon in connection to the death of LilDon Williams.
On Monday, another man, Antwaun Proctor, was sentenced to 45 years in prison without parole for his role in the rapper's murder.
Security video from the casino on March 17, the night of the shooting, showed the victim's vehicle, a 2013 silver and black Dodge Charger, pulling into the parking garage of Caesars Southern Indiana Hotel and Casino at about 12:50 a.m.
Shortly after a 2011 blue Chevrolet Malibu, later identified as the suspect's vehicle, parked in the garage. The footage shows Proctor and Davis waiting inside the vehicle for approximately three hours until the victim and his friends exited the casino.
When Williams was alone, Proctor and Davis shot him, according to a Harrison County Sheriff's Department affidavit. Davis then took the victim's vehicle and fled the scene while Proctor got in his car and also fled the scene.
Williams was pronounced dead at the scene. Both Proctor and Davis admitted to police they killed Williams, the police affidavit said.
Davis is currently being held at the Larue County Detention Center on unrelated charges.
