Man hit by 2 cars and killed in Louisville early Wednesday morning

Officers responded to the scene about 12:45 a.m.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man was killed early Wednesday morning after being hit by a vehicle in the area of Cane Run Road and Millers Lane near Shively.

According to a Louisville Metro police news release, officers were sent to the area about 12:45 a.m. and discovered the body of an adult male.

On Thursday, the Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the man as 58-year-old Isadore Sutton.

A preliminary investigation found Sutton was walking on Cane Run and was struck by a vehicle, which threw him into the opposing lane. A second vehicle then hit Sutton.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. No charges are expected to be filed.
