PHOTOS: Viewers send in storm damage, hail photos after overnight storms in Kentucky

WHAS11 News viewers sent us photos of golf ball sized hail and even a tree split in half after Wednesday morning's storm.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Several storms tore through Kentucky and southern Indiana Wednesday night, leaving behind damage and golf ball sized hail.

While most of Louisville and surrounding areas were largely spared from the storm, much of Kentucky was under a Tornado Watch and several counties were under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch starting Tuesday night with the last alert expiring by 9 a.m. Wednesday.

WHAS11 News received photos from viewers that show the damage and hail left behind.
